Sea turtle nesting sites for tourism development
The Tourism Department in Orissa has chalked out plans to attract more foreign tourists to the State by developing infrastructure like proper road communications, small huts and tents at Devi and Rusikulya river mouth areas, the two major nesting grounds of Olive Ridley turtles. It also includes the creation of an aquarium of sea turtles at the Regional Museum of Natural History in Bhubaneswar.
